This beautiful little wild maguey is often described as looking like a futbol (soccer ball) given it’s small round shape. It’s flavor profile is completely unique and sought after by many. Given that this wild maguey takes on average 12 years to mature and that they are somewhat difficult to reforest given that they tend to thrive in the shade of Oak Forest and do best at above 5,900 feet. It is a true treasure. With our ancestral clay pot distillation technique we require approximately 24.9 Kilos to produce 1 liter of this amazing mezcal.
